Description
This tiny teapot was made in pure porcelain. It was impressed while a wet cylinder and expanded from the inside to this bulbous shape. It is glazed in a transparent glze with no iron, and yet it has a blueish hue (mostly on its lower half where the glaze ran thick) – this kind of glaze is known as qingbai. It is a result of firing in an oxygen-starved atmosphere.
Ball filter inside, fantastic pour
