Description
Made on the potter’s wheel in a coarsely grogged mix of porcelain and iron clay. This teapot has a ball filter inside, and was glazed in a pale yellow iron glaze all over. fFired to 1260 degrees in reduced atmosphere. the brown spots are iron from the clay that pools out through the glaze during the firing, resulting in these iron blossoms.
