Description

Made in a mixture of porcelain and iron clay and glazed inside in a celadon like glaze to close the clay pores and make it suitable for all kinds of tea. The lid was decorated with porcelain slurry and decals. It was glazed in transparent glaze and the outside of the pot was then sprayed with oak ash. Fired to 1260 degrees in gas kiln.

The handle is made from round cane, and secured tightly. It is placed so that you can rest a finger on the lid while pouring, but you can of course also use two hands.
